A nurse will return your call as soon as possible. To refill a prescription, or for referral information, you will also be directed to an automatic system. Please listen carefully and follow the prompts.
Walk-in Policy
We discourage walk-ins. Please call for an appointment. In most cases, same day appointments can be accommodated.
After Hours Calling/24 Hour Answering Service 508-270-5700 or 508-370-0113
Our trained staff is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Except in the case of life threatening emergency, please call us if you have an urgent medical problem after the health center is closed. If there is a life threatening emergency, call 911.
Our number is 508-270-5700 or 508-370-0113. When you call us, you may enter an automatic system. Listen carefully to your choices. If you need to speak to a doctor, make the appropriate selection, the Answering Service will pick up.
The answering service will take your information and contact our doctor on call. The doctor will call you back within about 20 minutes. The doctor will tell you the best way to deal with the situation. The doctor who calls you is part of the health center and will be able to see information on your medications, condition and treatment.
This way we can be sure the advice we give you is consistent with your medical history and treatment.
Appropriate Emergency Room
The emergency room is a place for situations that require immediate attention and that can’t be handled at the health center or that can’t wait until the health center is open.
Use of the emergency room is not always best for you and your care. It may not always be necessary for you and can be very expensive.
Except in cases of life threatening emergency, call us first at 508-270-5700 or 508-370-0113. We will tell you if a trip to the emergency room is needed. If you have to use the emergency room, we will be able to call ahead and give the hospital information necessary for them to give you the appropriate care.
Sick Visits
If you or your child is sick, please call us first. During the day when we are open, one of our trained nurses will answer your call. If we think you need to be seen, we will try to schedule an appointment for the same or next day depending on your situation. We will try to give you an appointment with your own provider, the person who knows you best.
Please do not walk in. We may not be able to give you an appointment right away and you may have to wait or come back.
In some cases, a trip to the doctor is not needed.
